WhoWeAre

Our Mission

At All Souls, we live in Worship of God, Relationship with others, and Service to the world. This is our purpose in ministry and it is our process of growing one another in our life in Christ.

Worship

Worship is the foundation of the Christian life. There is no such thing as a Christian who does not worship God; it is the primary purpose of a Christian, so it is the primary purpose of All Souls. It is what is minimally expected of all Christians, so it is what we minimally expect of our members. Furthermore, worship is not a goal to be attained; it is a life-long process we enter into.  In other words, it is not a matter of just striving for a really cool "worship experience" on Sundays.  Instead, we are constantly learning how to better worship God in the fullness of our lives.  Sunday morning absolutely plays a big role in this, but it is not the end game.  We are always seeking to grow in our individual and corporate worship of God.

Worship is not only the foundational activity of our church, it is also our "front door". In other words, when new people come to All Souls (whether they are Christians or not), Sunday Morning Worship is primarily the first place they come. This is perfectly appropriate because we all need the same thing: to pour our hearts out before God as we confess our sin, fear, joy, anger, hope, fatigue, and need. We all need to hear of the wonder of the grace of Christ. We all need to be renewed in His presence, by His Spirit. That is why Worship is our foundation and our front door.

But, let's say you have been coming to All Souls for a while and are wondering, "Now what?" How do you get more involved and plugged in? How can you begin to grow more in your faith?
